This High Rise Caster will increase the height of your bed from the floor. This increase in bed height easily translates into increased under bed storage space.
Height Dimensions:
Unextended, the High Rise Bed Frame Adjustable Caster is approximately 6" in height (not counting the top shaft which will insert into the bedframe). Fully extended, the High Rise Bedframe Adjustable Caster is approximately 7 1/2" tall (not counting the top shaft which will insert into the bedframe). This caster will add approximately 4 1/2" to the height of your bed above the height provided by the typical caster. Including the height of the attachment point on the bedframe, the High Rise Caster can add up to an additional 12" in height to the bedframe.
Wheel Dimensions:
The wheel is approximately 2 1/8" wide and approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Its soft construction will help prevent floor damage. Its wide stance also makes it ideal for carpet. The weight of the bed is spread out over a wider area as the wide wheel makes contact with the carpet.
Heavy-Duty Construction:
This caster has a heavy-duty load rating of 125 lbs per caster. Thus, four casters would be capable of safely supporting a total load of 500 lbs.
